Mango Creek Lodge Day Tours

Roatan is a big island with much to see and do. Even if you don’t spend a full week at Mango Creek Lodge, you can enjoy some of our East End activities. Mango Creek Lodge offers several activities for day guests. Join us for Port Royal Fridaysday fishing, a pirate tour, an East End tour, or a Pigeons Cays excursion.

All day tours include transfers to and from BJ’s Backyard in Oak Ridge.

Port Royal Fridays

Join us at Mango Creek Lodge for an East End adventure. Each Friday, we welcome day guests to a sampling of the best of Port Royal. We depart from Oak Ridge at 9 a.m. for a sightseeing tour through Port Royal. After a filling lunch back at the lodge, we hit the water for an afternoon of snorkeling. A quick boat ride returns you to BJ’s at 3 p.m.

$60 per person

Day Fishing

The East End is home to superb saltwater flats that are ideal for bonefish and permit. Try out our waters by fly fishing or spin fishing with one of our guides for a day. Learn more about Mango Creek Lodge’s day fishing trips.

Pirate Tours

Roatan has a rich and colorful history, and some of its most interesting—and notorious—characters are pirates. Centuries ago, Port Royal harbor was the home of a sizable pirate community and numerous pirate expeditions and battles. Learn more about Roatan’s pirates on a boat tour of Port Royal. After lunch, snorkel some of the pirate islands in search of your own treasure.

East End Tours

Take a more extensive tour of Roatan’s East End with Mango Creek Lodge. This informative and fun tour begins in Port Royal, where you will learn about Roatan’s pirate history and see the site of the home of Anne Jennings, author of Roatan Odyssey. After lunch, we’ll venture through the Mangrove canals and past the village of Helene on Roatan’s easternmost tip.

Pigeon Cays Excursions

The Pigeon Cays are a pair of postcard-perfect tropical islands off the eastern tip of Roatan. On this tour, you’ll picnic on the sandy beach of an uninhabited isle and then snorkel the reef just beyond the sand. Along the way, you’ll also see the islands of Morat and Barbaret.
