Roatan is a big island with much to see and do. Even if you don’t spend a full week at Mango Creek Lodge, you can enjoy some of our East End activities. Mango Creek Lodge offers several activities for day guests. Join us for Port Royal Fridays, day fishing, a pirate tour, an East End tour, or a Pigeons Cays excursion.
All day tours include transfers to and from BJ’s Backyard in Oak Ridge.
Join us at Mango Creek Lodge for an East End adventure. Each Friday, we welcome day guests to a sampling of the best of Port Royal. We depart from Oak Ridge at 9 a.m. for a sightseeing tour through Port Royal. After a filling lunch back at the lodge, we hit the water for an afternoon of snorkeling. A quick boat ride returns you to BJ’s at 3 p.m.

Roatan has a rich and colorful history, and some of its most interesting—and notorious—characters are pirates. Take a more extensive tour of Roatan’s East End with Mango Creek Lodge. This informative and fun tour begins in Port Royal, where you will learn about Roatan’s pirate history and see the site of the home of Anne Jennings, author of Roatan Odyssey. After lunch, we’ll venture through the Mangrove canals and past the village of Helene on Roatan’s easternmost tip.

The Pigeon Cays are a pair of postcard-perfect tropical islands off the eastern tip of Roatan. On this tour, you’ll picnic on the sandy beach of an uninhabited isle and then snorkel the reef just beyond the sand. Along the way, you’ll also see the islands of Morat and Barbaret.
